Waldorf Astoria Bali, Ubud to open in 2018 as the third branded hotel in Indonesia


BALI, Indonesia - Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts announced the signing of a new management agreement with PT. Sharandy Land for a third Waldorf Astoriaproperty in Indonesia. Scheduled to open in 2018, the 100-key Waldorf Astoria Bali, Ubud will be the fourth Waldorf Astoria property in Southeast Asia following the planned openings of Waldorf Astoria properties in Bangkok, Bukit Pandawa-Bali and Jakarta.

Situated along the famous Ayung River, the longest waterway on Bali Island, Waldorf Astoria Bali, Ubud will be located in the lush surrounds of Sayan, a small Balinese village in Ubud. Against a pristine natural backdrop, the luxury resort will offer an exclusive address, approximately five kilometers from central Ubud, the cultural and artistic capital of Bali, and 31.4 kilometers away from the Ngurah Rai International Airport.
